Sushant Singh Rajput Case Getting Murkier, Better If CBI Steps In, Says BSP Chief Mayawati
A team of the Bihar Police arrived in Mumbai after it was revealed that Sushant Singh Rajput’s father KK Singh has filed an FIR in Bihar, accusing rhea Chakraborty of abetting the actor’s suicide, among other accusations. So far, Bihar Police has reportedly interrogated Sushant’s ex-girlfriend Ankita Lokhande, and also recorded the statement of Sushant’s sister Mitu. Now, BSP President Mayawati has favoured a CBI probe in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, as the case is getting murkier.

Mayawati, in her tweet, mentioned that Sushant Singh Rajput’s case is constantly getting murkier as new facts have been emerging every day, and after his father filing an FIR with Patna Police. She then said that it would be better if the case was investigated by the CBI instead of Maharashtra and Bihar police. Her tweet read, “1. बिहार मूल के युवा बालीवुड अभिनेता सुशान्त सिंह राजपूत की मौत का मामला रोज नए तथ्यों के उजागर होने व उनके पिता द्वारा पटना पुलिस में एफआईआर दर्ज कराने से लगातार गहराता जा रहा है। अब मामले की जाँच महाराष्ट्र व बिहार पुलिस द्वारा होने से बेहतर है कि प्रकरण की जाँच सीबीआई ही करे।”

In another tweet, Mayawati also said that the Maharashtra government should be serious about the probe.

Meanwhile, Republic World reports that Bihar Police will likely ask for electronic evidence such as CCTV footage, call detail records, videography of Sushant's dead body from Mumbai Police.
